If you are new to the Jaycees organization, let me give you my 2 cents worth. We are the greatest young person’s organization in the world, our membership includes men and women aged 18-41. Our goal, simply put, is to “Build Better People.” We provide the opportunity for young people to develop leadership skills, socialize, network and become active within their community. |
We accomplish this through leadership opportunities including training, planning projects, running events, serving on the board, writing newsletter articles, preparing and working with a budget and organizing manpower. I urge you to explore all the great things that Jaycees can do for you and your hometown. We have chapters all across Wisconsin, so one is near you. Check us out, and be sure to tell a friend! | GOALS FOR 2008
I. Regain the EXCITEMENT throughout the Wisconsin Jaycees II. PROMOTE the Jaycee movement to every young person in Wisconsin III. STABILIZE Wisconsin Jaycees Membership IV. Develop consistent, open and honest COMMUNICATION at all levels of the Wisconsin Jaycees V. Develop and implement a PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAM that can be effective statewide, regionally and on the local level VI. STRUCTURE the Wisconsin Jaycees so that we work to help local chapters become stronger organizations VII. Establish INCENTIVE PROGRAMS for local members to encourage the recruitment of new members and increase their involvement in the Wisconsin Jaycees VIII. PROVIDE the maximum number of TRAINING and growth opportunities for local members as well as State and Regional officers IX. ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION in all State Events X. HAVE FUN while sharing Jaycees with all of our members (and potential members) across the great State of Wisconsin |
